Exports of machines and equipment increased sharply in 5 months
Thứ sáu, 30-6-2017AsemconnectVietnam - The U.S was leading the list of Vietnam’s 43 export markets of machines, equipment and spare parts in the first five months of this year with the export turnover of over $ 1 billion, up by 29.7 per cent over the same period last year and accounted for 20 per cent of the total.
Vietnam’s exports of machines, equipment and spare parts in the first five months of this year totaled over $ 5 billion, up by 36 per cent year – on – year, showed the statistics figures of the General Department of Customs.
Japan ranked second after the U.S with the export turnover of $ 683.79 million, up by 15.9 per cent; and China ranked third with $ 672.18 million, up by 84.5 per cent.
In the first five months of this year, Vietnam’s exports of goods to Turkey increased sharply by 184 per cent to $ 20.8 million; to Sweden – up by 157.1 per cent to $ 2.2 million; to Russia – up by 156.5 per cent to $ 4.5 million; to Austria – down by 145.9 per cent to $ 1.9 million; to Mexico – down by 115 per cent to $ 34.9 million; Brazil – up by 125 per cent to $ 20.5 million; and New Zealand – up by 140 per cent to $ 1.7 million.
However, the country’s exports of machines, equipment and spare parts to Singapore decreased sharply by 39.4 per cent; to Belgium – down by 15.3 per cent; to Cambodia – down by 11 per cent; and to Saudi Arabia – down by 10 per cent.
