AsemconnectVietnam - According to the statistics figures from the General Department of Customs, Vietnam's export turnover to the Chinese market in December of 2024 reached more than 6.16 billion USD, up by 22.8% over the previous month.

In the whole year of 2024, the country’s exports of goods to China reached more than 61.2 billion USD, down by 0.1% over the same period last year.
Leading the export turnover in 2024 was the group of phones of all kinds and components reaching 15.4 billion USD, down by 8.4% over the same period last year, accounting for 15.2% of the proportion; followed by the group of computers, electronic products and components reaching 12.6 billion USD, down by 3.0% over the same period last year, accounting for 20.6% of the export proportion; and then the fruit and vegetable group reaching 4.6 billion USD, up by 27.3%, accounting for 7.5% of the proportion.
Groups of goods with export turnover growth in 2024 compared to the same period last year include seafood increased by 29.3%; chemicals increased by 59.9%; coffee increased by 52.2%; ores and other minerals increased by 35.8%; tea increased by 63.4%.
In 2024, China is identified as a key export market for agricultural, forestry and fishery products of Vietnam, expected to achieve high growth. In addition to strong products such as vegetables, fruits and seafood, businesses are focusing on increasing market share of products with great potential such as rubber, pepper, cassava, etc.
