Vietnam - Turkey trade exchange in first quarter of 2024

AsemconnectVietnam - According to the preliminary statistics figures of the General Department of Customs, the two-way trade exchange between Vietnam and Turkey in the first 3 months of 2024 reached 565.4 million USD, an increase of 3.5% over the same period of 2023.

Vietnam's goods exports to Turkey in the first 3 months of 2024 reached 464.8 million, up by 1.8% over the same period last year.
Meanwhile, the country’s imports of goods from Turkey have reached 100.6 million USD in the first 3 months of 2024, an increase of 12.2% compared to the first 3 months of 2023. Particularly in March 2024, the imports of goods from Turkey increased by 55.6% compared to February of 2024, reaching over 44.7 million USD.

According to the statistics figures of the General Department of Customs, Vietnam's exports of goods to Turkey in March of 2024 reached 170.9 million USD, an increase of 31.6% compared to February of 2024. Overall, in the first 3 months of 2024, the country’s exports to Turkey reached 464.8 million, up by 1.8% over the same period last year.
The leading products in export turnover in the first 3 months of 2024 were the group of phones of all kinds and components reaching 152.9 million USD, an increase of 25.6%; the group of computers, electronic products and components reaching 64.6 million USD, an increase of 25.5%; and the group of transport vehicles and spare parts reaching 46.9 million USD, an increase of 171.1% over the same period last year.
Some products with export turnover growing in the first 3 months of 2024 compared to the same period last year, including rubber increased by 50.2%; and rubber products increased by 41.9%.
Vietnam's imports of goods from Turkey in March and the first 3 months of 2024
Goods from Turkey imported into Vietnam have reached 100.6 million USD in the first 3 months of 2024, an increase of 12.2 % compared to the first 3 months of 2023. Particularly in March of 2024, the country’s imports of goods from Turkey increased by 55.6% compared to February of 2024, reaching over 44.7 million USD.
According to the preliminary statistics figures from the General Department of Customs, the two-way trade between Vietnam and Turkey in the first 3 months of 2024 reached 565.4 million USD, an increase of 3.5% over the same period of 2023.
In the first 3 months of 2024, the machinery, equipment, tools, and spare parts group ranked first in import turnover from Turkey reaching over 21.6 million USD, an increase of 79% compared to the first 3 months of 2023. Group of fabrics of all kinds imported from Turkey ranked second in turnover, reaching over 6.5 million USD, down by 17.5%. The imports of chemical group reached 34.6 million USD, a sharp increase of 345.7%; and the imports of pharmaceuticals reached 3.4 million USD, down by 39.7%
