DAILY: Vietnamese coffee prices rose by 1000 VND on January 31

AsemconnectVietnam - On Wednesday, Robusta coffee prices in Vietnam's Central Highlands, the country's largest coffee-growing area rose by 1000 VND to VND78,000 – VND79,000 per kg compared to Yesterday, according to Kinhtedothi.

Gia Nghia of Dak Lac provided the maximum price of VND79,000/kg, while traders in Lam Dong province offered the lowest price of VND78,000/kg. Robusta coffee increased to VND78,000 per kg in Bao Loc, Di Linh, and Lam Ha; to VND 78,400 per kg - VND78,500 per kg in Dak Lak; to VND78,900 – VND 79,000 in Dak Nong; to VND78,500 per kg in Kon Tum, and to VND78,300 – VND78,400 per kg in Gia Lai.
Vietnam exported 96,000 metric tonnes of coffee in the first two weeks of January, up 4.2% from a year earlier, government data released on Monday showed.
Coffee export revenue in the Jan. 1 to Jan. 15 period rose 40% to $283 million, the General Statistics Office said in a report.
