AsemconnectVietnam - According to statistics from the General Department of Customs, Vietnamese goods exports to the Netherlands in October 2023 reached 925 million USD, an increase of 4.6% compared to the previous month.

In the first 10 months of 2023, total turnover reached 8.3 billion USD, down 3.8% over the same period last year.
Leading the export turnover in the first 10 months of 2023 is the product group: Computers, electronic products, and components reaching 1.9 billion USD, down 8.2% over the same period last year, accounting for 23.4%. proportion. Next is the group of machinery, equipment, tools, and spare parts reaching 1.6 billion USD, up 0.4% over the same period last year, accounting for 19.6% proportion. Next is the group of all kinds of phones and components reaching 999.7 million USD, an increase of 40.8%, accounting for an 11.9% proportion.
Some items with increased export turnover to the Dutch market in the first 10 months of 2023 compared to the same period last year include: Exports of fruit and vegetables increased by 39.1%; Exports of other base metals and products increased by 180.5; Coal exports increased by 392.6%.
The EU is a dynamic market. Great cooperation opportunities in the field of vegetable, tuber, and fruit trade are concentrated in cooperative relationships with Dutch traders - where import volume from developing countries has grown quite strongly in recent years. Because for a long time, the Netherlands has been considered the gateway to the EU market, the leading transshipment place in Europe and the world, for vegetables, tubers, and fruits. In particular, EVFTA is bringing many new opportunities to Vietnamese and Dutch businesses.
