Speaking at the event, Vietnam Football Federation (VFF) General Secretary Nguyen Van Phu affirmed that support from the business community, particularly Acecook Vietnam, plays a meaningful role in the development of the national teams.

He said Acecook Vietnam’s decision to elevate and extend its sponsorship package until 2030 sends a strong signal for the future of Vietnamese football, reflecting the company’s sense of responsibility and long-term commitment to the sport. It also demonstrates the trust of the broader community, providing motivation for the national teams to strive harder, show dedication and secure new achievements in response to the expectations of millions of supporters, he stressed.

Phu added that stable, long-term sponsorship is a vital foundation for the VFF to effectively implement youth training programmes, enhance professional capabilities, and apply modern sports science and technology — thereby improving conditions for strong performances at the 33rd SEA Games and future tournaments.

At the ceremony, Acecook Vietnam and its flagship brand Hao Hao announced the renewal of their sponsorship contract until 2030 at the highest level under the Top Star Partner category, underscoring a strong and long-term commitment to the development of Vietnamese football.

The company also announced a financial donation worth 500 million VND (18,960 USD) to the national women’s team and the U22 squad to encourage them ahead of the 33rd SEA Games.

On behalf of the teams, head coach Mai Duc Chung expressed his gratitude to the sponsor for its continued support and affirmed that the teams will work hard to attain the highest results at the upcoming Games. He also said the teams will contribute 100 million VND to support flood victims in central Vietnam./.
