Vietnam’s fertilizer demand is expected to remain stable at 10.6–10.8 million tonnes in 2025. Favorable weather conditions and strong prices of key agricultural commodities such as rice and coffee help maintain stable consumption.
In addition, the newly applied 5% VAT on fertilizers will allow domestic producers to deduct input VAT, lowering production costs and improving competitiveness against imports.
