 Tuesday, July 1,2025

AsemconnectVietnam - According to Kinhtedothi, domestic coffee prices on July 1, 2025, are ranging between VND93,000 – 93,300/kg, a declined compared to the same time yesterday.

At the start of the week, coffee prices fluctuated within a narrow range, rising early in the session and falling slightly by the end. Favorable weather for harvesting in Brazil dominated the market, dragging down prices on both global coffee exchanges.
In Di Linh, Lâm Hà, and Bảo Lộc (Lâm Đồng Province), coffee is being purchased at VND93,000/kg.
In Cư M'gar (Đắk Lắk), the price is VND93,200/kg; in Ea H'leo and Buôn Hồ, it's VND93,100/kg.
In Đắk Nông (Lâm Đồng), coffee is bought at VND93,300/kg, while in Gia Nghĩa and Đắk R’lấp, it's VND93,200/kg.
In Gia Lai, prices are VND93,100/kg in Chư Prông and VND93,000/kg in Pleiku and La Grai.
In Kon Tum (Quảng Ngãi Province), the price remains at VND93,000/kg.
Global Coffee Market:
At the close of the latest trading session:
  • Robusta coffee (London):
    • July 2025: USD3,620/tonne (↓USD41)
    • September 2025: USD3,566/tonne (↓USD27)
  • Arabica coffee (New York):
    • July 2025: 300.1 cents/lb (↓3.65 cents)
    • September 2025: 294.6 cents/lb (↓2.8 cents)
The USD depreciation failed to lift coffee prices, while favorable weather in Brazil led to increased harvesting prospects, weighing heavily on both exchanges.
June 2025 Summary:
  • Robusta (London, July contract) dropped USD890/tonne
  • Arabica (New York, July contract) fell 42.35 cents/lb
  • Domestic market lost an average of VND24,000/kg
May 2025 Summary:
  • Robusta fell USD859/tonne
  • Arabica dropped 58.3 cents/lb
  • Domestic market declined by VND15,000/kg
The sharp drop is attributed to increased supply from Brazil and global trade uncertainties.
According to the Ministry of Agriculture and Environment, Vietnam's coffee export value reached USD5.5 billion in the first half of 2025—a historic record and already fulfilling the full-year target.
Since the largest harvest occurs between December and April, exports in the second half may be lower. However, the 2025 export turnover is expected to reach USD7.5 billion, up 36.9% from 2024.
