According to the preliminary statistics figures of the General Department of Customs, in the first 2 months of 2025, the export turnover of computers and electronics nationwide reached nearly 12.54 billion USD, an increase of 25.5% compared to the first 2 months of 2024.
In February of 2025 alone, computer and electronics exports reached over 6.47 billion USD, over 6.9% compared to January 2025 and an increase of 39% compared to February of 2024.
Computer and electronics export markets in February and the first two months of 2025
Vietnam exported the most computers and electronics to the US market in the first two months of 2025, reaching nearly 4.33 billion USD, up by 33.7% compared to the first two months of 2024, accounting for 34.5% of the total export turnover of computers and electronics of the whole country. In February of 2025 alone, the figure reached over 2.13 billion USD, down by 2.7% compared to January of 2025 but up by 47.2% compared to February of 2024.
The second largest market was China, reaching nearly 2.12 billion USD, up by 28.7%, accounting for 16.9%. The figure of February of 2025 alone also increased sharply by 37% compared to January of 2025 and increased by 54.6% compared to February of 2024, reaching 1.22 billion USD. The next was the EU market with over 1.39 billion USD, accounting for 11.1%, up by 38.9% compared to the first 2 months of 2024, while the exports to the South Korean market reached nearly 1.31 billion USD, up by 20.6%, accounting for 10.4%; the exports to Hong Kong market reached 1.13 billion USD, up by 2.9%, accounting for 9%. In general, the export of computers and electronics to most key markets in the first two months of 2025 decreased in value compared to the first two months of 2024.

According to the preliminary statistics figures of the General Department of Customs, in the first two months of 2025, the export turnover of phones and components of all kinds nationwide reached over 9.21 billion USD, down by 3.1% compared to the first two months of 2024.
In February of 2025 alone, the export of phones and components reached nearly 4.39 billion USD, down by 9.2% compared to January of 2025 but up by 11.7% compared to February of 2024.
Vietnam's main export markets for phones and components in February and the first two months of 2025
Vietnam exported the most phones and components to the US market in the first two months of 2025, reaching over 1.95 billion USD, down by 15.4% compared to the first two months of 2024, accounting for 21.2% of the total export turnover of phones and components of all kinds of the country. In February of 2025 alone, the figure reached nearly 830.89 million USD, down by 26.1% compared to January of 2025 and down by 9.6% compared to February of 2024.
The second largest market was China, reaching over 1.45 billion USD, down slightly by 0.7%, accounting for 15.8%. In February of 2025 alone, it increased sharply by 40.8% compared to January of 2025 and increased by 16.4% compared to February of 2024, reaching 850.14 million USD.
The next was the U.A.E market with nearly 536.94 million USD, accounting for 5.8%, down by 9.1% compared to the first 2 months of 2024, the exports to the South Korean market reached nearly 509.51 million USD, down by 12.9%; the exports to Austrian market reached 454.13 million USD, up by 33%.
In general, the export of phones and components to most key markets in the first 2 months of 2025 decreased in turnover compared to the first 2 months of 2024.
