 Friday, February 21,2025

AsemconnectVietnam - Kinh Bac Urban Development Corporation - JSC (HOSE: KBC) plans consolidated revenue of VND10,000 billion and after-tax profit of VND3,200 billion, respectively 3 times and 7 times higher than in 2024.

Revenue from leasing industrial park (IP) land can reach more than 200 hectares, coming from Nam Son Hap Linh Industrial Park, Tan Phu Trung Industrial Park, Hung Yen Industrial Cluster, Trang Due 3 Industrial Park.
The Company's Board of Directors announced that it will hold the first extraordinary shareholders' meeting in 2025 on the morning of March 6 in the form of direct organization at the Company's headquarters in Bac Ninh, combining online meetings and electronic voting.
According to documents sent to shareholders, KBC said that the domestic and global economic situation still faces many challenges due to political and trade fluctuations. Vietnam is heavily dependent on international trade and is vulnerable to US policy responses.
However, Vietnam's economic outlook in 2025 will be brighter than in 2024, with FDI attraction still a bright spot. Therefore, the Board of Directors of the Company agreed to convene the first extraordinary General Meeting of Shareholders in 2025 to submit to the General Meeting of Shareholders for early approval of the 2025 operating plans.
Talking about the ambitious goals this year, KBC said that the Company's industrial parks have all received positive signals regarding the legal status of projects and attracted investment from the beginning of 2025, in which Nam Son Hap Linh Industrial Park and Hung Yen Industrial Cluster have signed memorandums of understanding and deposit agreements with large leasing areas.
Therefore, KBC expects the total leasing area in 2025 to reach more than 200 hectares, coming from Nam Son Hap Linh Industrial Park, Tan Phu Trung Industrial Park, Hung Yen Industrial Cluster, Trang Due 3 Industrial Park. At the same time, revenue from social housing (NOXH) in Nenh town, NOXH in Trang Due urban area and continued construction of NOXH buildings in 2 projects.
In addition, Trang Cat urban area has compensated, paid land use fees, is investing in infrastructure and has obtained important legal documents, the project is expected to be put into business from 2025; Loc Giang - Long An Industrial Park has a scale of 466 hectares, has compensated 110 hectares, is continuing to invest in infrastructure, and can be put into business soon.
In the first month of the year, Trang Due 3 Industrial Park (area of more than 652.7 hectares), Trang Cat urban and service area project (nearly 585 hectares) in Hai Phong and Kim Thanh 2 Industrial Park project phase 1 (nearly 235 hectares) in Hai Duong were approved for investment policy.
"These projects will accelerate infrastructure investment progress from the beginning of 2025 and are expected to bring extraordinary business results to KBC from 2025 and the following years", according to KBC's submission.
In 2024, KBC planned to have revenue of VND9,000 billion and profit after tax of VND4,000 billion, but only achieved 31% and nearly 12% of the target, respectively. The reason given by KBC is that in 2024, most of the projects that the Company expects to put into business investment and record revenue such as Nam Son Hap Linh Industrial Park, Trang Due 3 Industrial Park, Trang Cat urban area, Phuc Ninh urban area, etc. have not had their legal procedures cleared in time.
