In Q4/2024, Hoang Anh Gia Lai recorded revenue of VND1,499.85 billion, up 6.5% year-on-year; profit after tax reached VND205.46 billion, down 80.8% year-on-year.
During the period, gross profit increased by 301.3% year-on-year, equivalent to an increase of VND440.55 billion to VND586.78 billion; Financial revenue decreased by 80.9%, equivalent to a decrease of VND285.75 billion to VND67.54 billion; financial expenses recorded VND194.96 billion compared to the same period, recording a negative VND959.72 billion, meaning financial expenses increased by VND1,154.68 billion; sales and business management expenses increased by 33.7%, equivalent to an increase of VND41.48 billion to VND164.71 billion; other profits lost VND111.95 billion compared to the same period, a loss of VND256.42 billion, an increase of VND144.47 billion, and other activities fluctuated insignificantly.
Notably, in the last quarter of 2024, financial expenses unexpectedly increased sharply, leading to a decrease in profits. In particular, Hoang Anh Gia Lai explained that this period no longer had reduced interest compared to the same period, reduced by VND1,424.7 billion.
In 2024, Hoang Anh Gia Lai recorded revenue of VND5,693.57 billion, down 11.6%; profit after tax reached VND1,056.56 billion, down 40.7% over the same period last year.
