AsemconnectVietnam - According to the statistics figures from the General Department of Customs, Vietnam's export turnover to the Netherlands in 2024 reached 12.9 billion USD, an increase of 26.9% compared to 2023.

Leading the export turnover in 2024 were the following groups of goods: computers, electronic products and components reaching 3.4 billion USD, an increase of 44.5% over the same period last year, accounting for 26.7% of the export proportion. The next was the group of machinery, equipment, tools and spare parts reaching 2.4 billion USD, an increase of 22.8%, accounting for 18.9% of the proportion; and then the group of footwear of all kinds reaching 1.6 billion USD, an increase of 66.3%, accounting for 12.8% of the proportion.
Some items with increased export turnover to the Dutch market in 2024 compared to the previous year: pepper increased by 73.7%; chemical products increased by 75.7%; coffee increased by 94%.
The Netherlands has been considered the gateway to the EU market, the leading transit point in Europe and the world, for vegetables, tubers and fruits. In particular, EVFTA is bringing many new opportunities for Vietnamese and Dutch businesses.
The EU is a dynamic market. Great cooperation opportunities in the field of vegetable, tubers and fruits trade are concentrated in cooperative relationships with Dutch traders - where import capacity from developing countries has grown quite strongly in recent years.
