According to a recent announcement by CNG Vietnam JSC (code CNG), in the third quarter, the company's total output (CNG, LPG, LNG) reached 75.12 million Sm3, equal to 117% of the plan for the third quarter of 2024. Accordingly, total revenue reached VND988.7 billion, equal to 121% of the quarterly plan. Pre-tax profit reached VND34.68 billion, equal to 116% of the quarterly plan.
Accumulated in the first 9 months of 2024, CNG's total output reached 187.1 million Sm3, equal to 116% of the 9-month plan and 78% of the yearly plan. Total revenue reached VND2,460.5 billion, equal to 121% of the 9-month plan and 80% of the yearly plan. Pre-tax profit reached VND92.1 billion, equal to 124% of the 9-month plan and 83% of the yearly plan. Entering the fourth quarter, CNG will promote business activities, develop and expand the market according to the integrated business model of gas products nationwide, making the most of and exploiting markets along the LNG railway. At the same time, perform well in production, optimize costs at all stages; speed up the investment progress of CNG/LNG stations...
Tomorrow, October 15, CNG will finalize the list of shareholders to pay 2023 dividends at a rate of 12% (equivalent to VND1,200 per share). Payment date is October 31, 2024.
With more than 35 million shares in circulation, it is estimated that CNG will spend more than VND42 billion to pay this dividend to shareholders. In CNG's shareholder structure, PetroVietnam Gas Corporation (PV GAS) is the largest shareholder with a 56% ownership, equivalent to more than 19.65 million shares, estimated to receive nearly VND23.6 billion from this dividend payment.
