Although the world steel market is generally facing many difficulties, domestic market demand is still weak, and Hoa Phat's member companies in the North are affected by natural disasters and floods, after the first nine months of the year, Hoa Phat Group still paid VND10,000 billion to the state budget, an increase of 65% over the same period last year.
In 9 months, the total amount of taxes and fees paid by Hoa Phat Dung Quat Steel Company, including import VAT, import-export tax, domestic tax, etc., reached nearly VND7,500 billion and was the company with the largest contribution among the members of the Group.
By the end of this year, Hoa Phat Group is expected to pay more than VND15,000 billion to the budget. When Dung Quat 2 completes the investment in the construction of phase II, the budget payment in 2025 is expected to be over VND20,000 billion.
