AsemconnectVietnam - On June 24, 2024, in Hanoi, Investment Newspaper in collaboration with Vietnam Business Research Joint Stock Company (Viet Research) officially held a ceremony to announce the List of Top 10 Innovative Creative and Effective Businesses 2024 results in key economic sectors (VIE10) and Top 100 Innovative Creative and Effective Products and Services of 2024 (POY).

Accordingly, Construction Corporation No. 1 - JSC (code CC1 - UPCoM floor) is honored to rank 4th in the Ranking of 10 innovative and effective businesses in the Real Estate - Construction industry in 2024 and Housing Projects. Quang Trach 1 Thermal Power Plant has won the title "Product of the Year - Top 100 innovative products in 2024".
CC1 and the businesses honored in this event are those that have applied creativity, innovation and innovation in operating models, product and service design, management thinking, organization and Deploying work, contributing to improving production and business efficiency, creating a position in the market and contributing to the overall development of the entire country.
Results of a quick survey of businesses in the VIE50 and VIE10 books show that up to 86% of businesses consider innovation to be an important key to growth in the coming time, with the majority of businesses focusing on innovate and improve products, services and processes. More than 70% of businesses in the survey also said they planned to increase their budgets for innovation in at least the next 2 years.
Grasping the development trend in the new era, CC1 deploys investment in both management technology and construction equipment technology. Regarding management technology, CC1 continuously improves to apply scientific, streamlined and effective management models in addition to simultaneously applying BIM (Building Information Modeling) and ERP (Enterprise resource planning system) in management and operations. The application of the ERP system and BIM model to CC1's production and business activities helps minimize costs, improve labor productivity, optimize profits in investment and production, thereby improving high competitiveness.
In addition, CC1 also focuses on investing and developing advanced technology - equipment and construction solutions to use for construction and investment projects that the business is and will be implementing. New development trends such as green development, sustainable development, and moving towards ESG standards are also learned and implemented by CC1 to continue perfecting the management model, contributing to enhancing the culture of creativity and innovation in business, ready to integrate and develop more in the future.
In addition, the Quang Trach 1 Thermal Power Plant Project by a Joint Venture including CC1, Mitsubishi Corporation (Japan) and Hyundai E&C Corporation (Korea) as the EPC General Contractor has achieved the title "Product of the Year - Top 100 innovative products and services in 2024".
Quang Trach 1 Thermal Power Plant uses a direct flow boiler, direct injection coal (PC) combustion, a traditional steam condenser turbine, and supercritical steam parameters. The concentration of substances in exhaust gases and wastewater before being discharged into the environment not only meets the regulations and standards on environmental protection of current Vietnamese law but also meets the standards of the World Bank (WB). On the other hand, the ash and slag of this plant is a clean material used in many other industries, and has been ordered and consumed by a number of units in the area.
In an age where standing still means falling behind, the top challenge businesses face is not just to innovate, but to innovate sustainably and effectively. A business innovation strategy is a core element for the long-term success of any business.
