PJICO (PGI) launches a new brand identity to celebrate its 30th anniversary

AsemconnectVietnam - On June 21, 2024, Petrolimex Insurance Joint Stock Corporation (PJICO - stock code PGI) held a ceremony to launch a new brand identity, marking a strong transformation of the insurance brand with a long history of 29 years of establishment and development history.

At the ceremony, Mr. Ngo Viet Trung, Director of the Insurance Supervision and Management Department, Ministry of Finance sent his warmest congratulations to the Board of Directors and all PJICO staff on the occasion of launching the brand identity new brand. Mr. Trung assessed: "The launch of the new brand identity has demonstrated PJICO's strong commitment to innovation and development. I believe that, under the new brand mark, PJICO will grow stronger, better meet the diverse needs of people and businesses, and bring more value to customers."
Over three decades, PJICO has accompanied tens of millions of individual customers and corporate organizations with the traditional and familiar blue and orange logo. That familiarity and trust has built up PJICO - the leading prestigious non-life insurance brand in Vietnam today. Turning 30 years old, PJICO officially announced a change in brand identity to get ready for a new phase of development.
New brand identity and philosophy "Serving with kindness"
PJICO's new logo is a creative depiction of the solidly designed word PJICO along with the flexible, vivid lines of the heart symbol, representing a devoted PJICO from the inside to a loved PJICO from the outside. The heart symbol conveys a commitment to deep care and trustworthy companionship, and the solid tick mark is a guarantee for millions of customers' trust and love, affirming the philosophy of "Serving with compassion" that PJICO always pursue. The new logo has the main color Deep Blue, inherited from the traditional blue color, expressing the spirit of PJICO on the new journey, harmoniously combining with Cyan Blue - the color of youthful, modern technology, with new energy for the brand, in harmony with the digital transformation wave of the era, creating a sustainable green future.
Mr. Pham Thanh Hai, Chairman of the Board of Directors of PJICO, said: With the message "Serving with compassion", the new brand identity is a mirror reflecting the Corporation's development philosophy: every action, every service that PJICO does come from a sincere heart. PJICO determines that sustainable development is the foundation and pillar for businesses to optimize operational efficiency, harmonize benefits among investors, shareholders, and customers, while implementing social responsibility and spreading social responsibility, radiate good values to the community. With this change, PJICO will step forward stronger, becoming a symbol of trust and quality in the insurance industry.
The first half of 2024 is estimated to complete 65.8% of the year's profit plan
Along with the new brand identity launch event, PJICO organized a summary of business activities in the first 6 months of 2024 with positive results, many targets completed beyond plan. Accordingly, PJICO's total revenue in the first 6 months of 2024 is estimated at VND2,546 billion, completing 53.4% of the year plan, of which, primary insurance revenue is estimated at VND2,154 billion, completing 53.6% of the plan, growing by 7.5% over the same period in 2023. In particular, thanks to good control of investment and financial activities, promoting the exploitation of new insurance products, pre-tax profit results in the first 6 months of the year of PJICO has completed 65.8% of the General Meeting of Shareholders' plan, estimated at VND190 billion.
Although the insurance market in 2024 still has many difficulties and the economy has not fully recovered, with the strength of a reputable non-life insurance business unit, it has an advantage in market share size. , some of PJICO's core business segments continue to achieve high growth compared to the same period in 2023.
With the launch of a new brand identity and positive business results, PJICO demonstrates its long-term vision and efforts to promote the digital transformation strategy, towards the Corporation's sustainable development goals.
