Vinh Hoan (VHC) recorded VND1,091 billion revenue in April

AsemconnectVietnam - In the April revenue structure of Vinh Hoan Joint Stock Company (code VHC), pangasius is still the main product, reaching VND635 billion, up 22% over the same period and accounting for 58% of revenue.

Vinh Hoan just announced its revenue report for April 2024 with revenue reaching VND1,091 billion, an increase of 25% over the same period. Of which, pangasius brought in VND635 billion, an increase of 22%; Other products brought in VND205 billion, an increase of 112%; collagen and gelatin reached VND75 billion, an increase of 36%; rice products reached VND42 billion, an increase of 141% and puffed sales reached VND30 billion, an increase of 65%.
On the contrary, by-products decreased by 36%, to VND97 billion and value-added products decreased by 38%, to VND7 billion.
Regarding the export market, in April, the US market brought in the largest revenue, reaching VND411 billion, up 33% over the same period; Europe is VND202 billion, an increase of 47%. In contrast, sales to China were only half the same period, reaching VND53 billion. In the Vietnamese market, VHC earned VND282 billion, an increase of 39% over the same period.
Thus, in the cumulative 4 months of 2024, Vinh Hoan recorded VND3,902 billion in revenue, an increase of about 25% compared to the same period in 2023.
Recently, VHC continued to be reminded by HOSE to delay the publication of financial statements. According to HOSE, on May 3, 2024, HOSE issued an official dispatch reminding Vinh Hoan Joint Stock Company about the delay in publishing financial statements for the first quarter of 2024. However, the Department has not yet received the Company's report.
In order to ensure complete information to investors, HOSE reminded for the second time and requested VHC to urgently announce financial statements for the first quarter of 2024.
Previously, Vinh Hoan had sent an official dispatch requesting an extension to submit and publish financial statements no later than May 15.
Vinh Hoan said that the Company and its subsidiaries are in the process of having to provide documents to the US Department of Commerce for the 20th administrative inspection period for frozen Vietnamese pangasius fillets exported to the market. American school should not be able to prepare financial statements for the first quarter of 2024 on time.
