Biwase (BWE) earned VND536 billion profit in 10 months
Saturday, December 16,2023AsemconnectVietnam - Binh Duong Water - Environment Corporation JSC (Biwase, stock code BWE - HOSE) has just announced its business results for the first 10 months of 2023.
Accordingly, the Company's water consumption in October reached more than 152.2 million m3, a slight increase compared to the same period in 2022. Total enterprise revenue reached VND2,941 billion, down 6% over the same period and profit after tax reached VND536 billion, down 7%. The water loss rate is 5%.
In 2023, Biwase targets water output to reach 186 million m3, total revenue to reach VND3,970 billion and profit after tax to reach VND720 billion. Thus, after 10 months of 2023, Biwase has completed 82% of output; 74% for both revenue and profit targets.
In October, BWE did not record revenue of VND149.84 billion from the waste and wastewater treatment sectors.
Biwase added that by early November 2023, Di An water supply branch achieved revenue of VND645 billion, equal to 98.94% over the same period in 2022, reaching 78% of the year plan. In particular, the group of service business and administrative business customers increased because the southern region of the province strongly developed urban and service economic types...
In the remaining 2 months of 2023, BWE will focus on completing a 200 ton/hour waste incinerator generating 5MW of electricity, expected to be inaugurated before the Lunar New Year. At the same time, focus on connecting customers from completed pipelines to supply water for the dry season and prepare to collect debt at the end of the year.
In October, BWE said that leaders of 4 international banks and investment funds, including: Standard Chartered, Taishin Bank, ICBC, and Nakim Bank, had a meeting to introduce their capabilities and desire to cooperate and accompany Biwase develop and expand investment in the coming time.
