Cienco4 (C4G) recorded VND77.9 billion profit in the first 6 months of 2023
Tuesday, August 8,2023AsemconnectVietnam - In the first 6 months of 2023, Cienco4 Group JSC (code C4G - UPCoM) recorded a profit of VND77.9 billion, equaling 98.5% over the same period last year.
During the period, gross profit increased by 12.6% over the same period, corresponding to an increase of VND12.69 billion, to VND113.04 billion; financial revenue increased by 47.7%, equivalent to an increase of VND11.97 billion, to VND37.08 billion; financial expenses increased by 83.7%, equivalent to VND39.27 billion, to VND86.19 billion; selling and administrative expenses decreased by 19.2%, equivalent to VND5.23 billion, to VND22.08 billion.
Accumulated in the first half of 2023, Cienco4 recorded revenue of VND1,081.7 billion, equaling 89.4% over the same period and profit after tax recorded at VND77.9 billion, equaling 98.5% over the same period last year.
It is known that in 2023, Cienco4 sets a revenue target of VND4,500 billion and profit after tax of VND330 billion. Thus, at the end of the first half of 2023, Cienco4 completed 23.6% of the year's profit plan.
On a positive note, in the first 6 months of 2023, the main business cash flow was positive again, the Company recorded a positive VND105.44 billion compared to a negative VND75.6 billion in the same period. In addition, financial cash flow was positive at VND683.8 billion. Cash and equivalent items also recorded a sharp increase from 216 billion to 713 billion, especially related to the payables recorded "buyers pay in advance" which increased to VND748.6 billion compared to VND406.6 billion at the beginning of the year.
As of June 30, 2023, Cienco4's total assets increased by 16.5% compared to the beginning of the year, corresponding to an increase of VND1,368.1 billion, to VND9,639.2 billion. In which, the main assets are short-term receivables recorded at VND3,866.8 billion, accounting for 40.1% of total assets; fixed assets recorded VND 2,318.4 billion, accounting for 24.1% of total assets; inventory recorded at VND 902.7 billion, accounting for 9.4% of total assets; Cash and cash equivalents were recorded at VND879 billion, accounting for 9.1% of total assets and other items.
During the period, assets fluctuated strongly, mainly cash and short-term financial investment increased by 280.2% compared to the beginning of the year, corresponding to an increase of VND647.8 billion, to VND879 billion; short-term receivables increased by 20.3% compared to the beginning of the year, corresponding to an increase of VND652.3 billion dong, to VND3,866.8 billion.
As for capital, by the end of the second quarter, total short-term and long-term loans decreased by 7% compared to the beginning of the year, respectively, down VND246.5 billion, down to VND3,299.9 billion and accounted for 34.2% of total capital (accounting for 42.9% of total capital at the beginning of the year).
