According to the Customs Department, in the first 9 months of 2025, export turnover to Cambodia reached 4.1 billion USD, up by 6.2% over the same period last year.
Textiles and garments were the leading commodity group in terms of export turnover to Cambodia. In September of 2025, the export turnover of this commodity group reached 74.8 million USD, down by 5.8% compared to the previous month, in the first 9 months of the year it reached 687.5 million USD, up by 3.3%, accounting for 16.4% of the export proportion.
The next was the export of iron and steel of all kinds, reaching 58.8 million USD in September of 2025, down by 24.5% compared to the previous month. In the first 9 months of the year, the figure reached 644 million USD, up by 18.6%, accounting for 15.4% of the export proportion. The items with export turnover growth in the first 9 months of 2025 compared to the same period included iron and steel products increased by 25.8%; animal feed and raw materials increased by 38.7%; vegetables and fruits increased by 84.8%; coffee increased by 183%.
Vietnam and Cambodia have many similarities in culture, market demand, and consumer habits. These are extremely favorable factors for Vietnamese goods and services to be welcomed in the Cambodian market.
Along with bilateral agreements, agreements and treaties in the ASEAN region will continue to further connect the economies of Vietnam and Cambodia.
