Imports of animal feed and materials decreased in first 10 months
Tuesday, November 19,2019AsemconnectVietnam - Vietnam imported 337 million USD worth of animal feed and materials in October of this year, increased by 28.51 per cent over the previous month and by 1.37 per cent in value over the same month of last year, showed the statistics figures of the General Department of Customs.

In the first 10 months of this year, the imports of wheat from Russia decreased by 75.6 per cent in quantity and 74.76 per cent in value year – on - year, while the imports from Australia decreased by 16.67 per cent in quantity and 13.24 per cent in value; and from Canada – down by 12.48 per cent in quantity and 10.45 per cent in value. Meanwhile, the imports from Canada decreased by 12.48 per cent in quantity and 10.45 per cent in value compared with the same period last year. However, the imports from the U.S increased sharply by 22.52 per cent in quantity and 38.81 per cent in value over the same period last year.
Soybean: Vietnam’s imports of soybean reached 113,000 tons worth of over 45 million USD in October and over 1.4 million tons worth of 563 million USD in the first 10 months of this year, decreased by 2.25 per cent in quantity and by 10.04 per cent in value compared with the same period of 2018.
