US$ 18.9 billion earned from exports of computers, electronics and components
Tuesday, September 18,2018AsemconnectVietnam - Vietnam exported over US$ 18.9 billion worth of computers, electronics and components in the first eight months of this year, increased by 17.3 per cent over the same period of 2017, showed the statistics figures of the General Department of Customs.
EU ranked second with $3.2 billion, up by 25.23 per cent year – on – year; and then the U.S - $1.8 billion, down by 9.88 per cent.
The exports of computers, electronics and components to the South East Asian countries in the first eight months of this year decreased by 18.53 per cent year – on – year to $1.4 billion.
In the first eight months of this year, Vietnam’s exports of computers, electronics and components to Poland rocketed by 502.95 per cent to $312.09 million; to Nigeria – up by 5.08 times or 408.67 per cent to $ 1.2 million; to Hungary – up by 3.61 times of 261.09 per cent to $191.8 million; to Taiwan (CN) – up by 2.21 per cent or 121.97 per cent to $327.30 million.
