U.A.E – potential export market of Vietnam
Wednesday, December 13,2017AsemconnectVietnam - Vietnam earned over US$ 4.36 billion from exports of goods to the U.A.E in the first ten months of this year, slightly increased by 0.5 per cent over the same period last year, showed the statistics figures of the General Department of Customs.
In the first 10 months of this year, the country’s exports of tea to the U.A.E increased sharply by 151 per cent to $ 8.92 million; while the exports of wood and furniture – up by 40.5 per cent; fruit and vegetables – up by 57 per cent; means of transport and spare parts – up by 157 per cent.
However, the exports of precious stones, metals and products decreased sharply by 83.5 per cent year – on – year; iron and steel of all kinds – down by 54.8 per cent; handbags, wallets, suitcases, hats and umbrellas – down by over 30 per cent; and pepper – down by 32.4 per cent.
