2nd ASEM Conference on Global Ageing and Human Rights of Older Persons

The 2nd ASEM Conference on Global Ageing and Human Rights of Older Persons will be held on 19-21 September 2017 in Seoul, Korea.
The event aims to share information on policies to respond to population ageing not only in Europe and Asia but also among the United Nations (UN) and international community, and discuss measures to further develop policies.
In particular, the Conference would like to identify measures to link plans and goals, such as the Madrid International Plan of Action on Ageing (2002-2022) and Sustainable Development Goals (2016-2030) with human rights of older persons and discuss detailed and practical measures to enhance international cooperation.
