ASEM Day in Cambodia

The Ministry of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation (MFAIC) in cooperation withthe Ministry of Education, Youth and Sport (MoEYS), and Asia-Europe Foundation (ASEF) will host an ASEM day under the theme, "ASEM in 3rd Decade" on 6 March 2017, in Phnom Penh, Cambodia.
At the 11th ASEM Summit held on 15-16 July 2016, in Ulaanbaatar, Mongolia, ASEM leaders decided to designate an ASEM Day, "Asia meets Europe/Europe meets Asia Day" and recommended celebrating it annually on 1 March or any other day during the first week of March as appropriate, with a view to underlining ASEM's importance and raising its visilbility.
The event, which has 2 sessions scheduled in the morning and afternoon, is expected to draw participants among government ministries and a private insitution, as well as university students, lecturers and school management.
