AsemconnectVietnam - In Q3/2026, Hoa Phat Group produced 3.7 million tons of crude steel, a 3% increase compared to the previous quarter. Sales volume of construction steel, high-quality steel coils, hot-rolled steel coils, and steel billets reached 3.8 million tons, an 8% increase compared to Q2 and a 54% increase compared to Q3/2025.

Specifically, sales volume of construction steel and high-quality steel coils reached over 1.3 million tons, a 2% increase compared to Q2 and a 26% increase compared to the same period last year. Steel billets reached 383,000 tons, a 42% increase compared to the previous quarter.
Hot-rolled coil (HRC) contributed the largest share of production, reaching over 2 million tons in Q3, an 8% increase compared to Q2 and a 64% increase compared to the same period last year. Of this, the export market contributed 24.6% of production. Hoa Phat has exported HRC to 26 countries and territories.
The group also supplied the market with 228,000 tons of steel pipes, 118,000 tons of galvanized steel sheets, and nearly 64,500 tons of prestressed steel.
In the first 9 months of 2026, Hoa Phat produced 10.7 million tons of crude steel, a 35% increase compared to the same period in 2025. Sales volume of HRC, construction steel, high-quality steel coils, and steel billets reached 10.3 million tons, a 39% increase compared to the same period last year.
Of which, construction steel and high-quality steel coils reached over 4 million tons, a 15% increase. Steel billet production reached 811,000 tons, a 69% increase. HRC reached 5.47 million tons, a 59% increase, accounting for more than half of Hoa Phat's total steel product sales.
For downstream steel products, the Group recorded steel pipe production of 681,000 tons, a 9% increase; galvanized steel reached over 307,000 tons, a 4% decrease; and prestressed steel reached over 192,000 tons, a 66% increase compared to the same period in 2025.
Hoa Phat Group's crude steel production capacity currently reaches 16 million tons per year, the largest in Southeast Asia. Of this, over 60% is high-quality steel, serving industries such as mechanical engineering, automotive manufacturing, shipbuilding, oil and gas, household appliances, steel structures, energy, and railways.
