DNSE sets a record for derivatives market share at 26.62% and maintains Top 2 position
Tuesday, October 20,2026
AsemconnectVietnam - Achieving a 26.62% market share in derivatives brokerage in Q3 2026, DNSE recorded its highest level since entering the market, extending its streak of 8 consecutive quarters holding the Top 2 position.
Record-High derivatives market share
According to the Hanoi Stock Exchange (HNX), DNSE Securities' derivatives brokerage market share in Q3 2026 reached 26.62%, an increase of 1.24 percentage points compared to the previous quarter. This is the highest market share DNSE has achieved since entering the derivatives market.
DNSE first rose to the Top 2 in derivatives brokerage market share in Q4 2024, approximately 18 months after launching its derivatives trading feature. From then until Q3/2026, the company maintained this position for eight consecutive quarters, while continuously narrowing the gap with the leading unit.
The expansion of market share occurred alongside DNSE's investment in technology platforms, trading infrastructure, and investor support tools. This technology-driven securities company also consistently ranks among the top in terms of new account openings and recently reached the milestone of 2 million users in Q3/2026.
Technological advantages behind the Top 2 derivatives market position
With its characteristic of rapid and continuous fluctuations, the derivatives market requires both stable order processing capabilities from the system and proactive investor control in managing positions and margin ratios.
The Future X derivatives product developed by DNSE optimizes order processing speed, system stability, and transaction-specific management tools. This approach allows investors to specifically monitor each position and be more proactive in executing their strategies. Investors can track profits and losses in real time, including taxes and fees, and manage margin ratios for each trade (Deal). The system also provides alerts when margin ratios reach dangerous levels, helping users to promptly review and adjust their positions.
In addition, automatic profit-taking and stop-loss features allow investors to set thresholds according to their chosen strategy. These tools reduce manual operations and help maintain trading discipline, especially during periods of rapid market volatility.
In 2026, the program will have separate rankings for professional and novice investors, creating opportunities for players with different levels of experience to participate. The Live Battle – Derivative Trading version will be broadcast live, allowing viewers to watch contestants – experienced investors – choose positions, react to fluctuations, and handle trading situations.
Upcoming, the Live Battle – Derivative Trading Finals are scheduled to take place live on stage at the Future Tech Summit 2026 organized by DNSE in Ho Chi Minh City at the end of November. The event will bring the online competition to a live audience, while also creating a space for the investment community to meet and exchange trading experiences.
