Long Hau (LHG) plans to borrow up to VND760 billion to implement a 19.1-hectare project

AsemconnectVietnam - Long Hau Joint Stock Company (LHG - HOSE) has approved a plan to borrow capital for the Long Hau 3 residential and resettlement project, covering an area of over 19.1 hectares.
The maximum loan limit is VND760 billion from BIDV Bank – Ho Chi Minh City Branch, with a loan term of 60 months from the day following the first disbursement date. The purpose of the loan is to pay for project investment costs, cover financial expenses arising from the project investment, and issue guarantees to implement the project.
It is known that at the 2021 Annual General Meeting of Shareholders, Long Hau approved the investment plan for the Long Hau 3 residential and resettlement project, covering an area of over 19 hectares.
Previously, AFC Vietnam Auditing Company Limited audited Long Hau's 2026 semi-annual financial statements. In particular, the auditing firm draws the reader's attention to Note 8.6 of the Report, which states that Long Hau has not yet recorded its obligation to reimburse the resettlement costs of the Long Hau 1 Industrial Park project to Tan Thuan Industrial Development Co., Ltd.
“As of the date of issuance of the audited report, the Board of Directors of Long Hau stated that the Company did not have a reliable basis for estimating this amount to be paid. Accordingly, this reimbursement obligation has not been recorded in the 2026 semi-annual financial statements,” AFC Vietnam Auditing Company Limited further emphasized.
It is known that in the latest notification dated December 26, 2024, Long Hau received a document regarding the reimbursement of resettlement costs for the Long Hau Industrial Park project with a proposed provisional payment of VND328.7 billion.
In fact, as of June 30, 2026, Long Hau recorded receivables from Tan Thuan Industrial Development Co., Ltd. of VND60.38 billion.
Regarding business operations, in the first half of 2026, Long Hau recorded revenue of VND365.37 billion, a decrease of 20.1% compared to the same period; after-tax profit reached VND187.61 billion, a decrease of 6.1% compared to the same period. The gross profit margin decreased from 58.5% to 52.7%.
In 2026, Long Hau plans total revenue of VND728.22 billion, a decrease of 4.2% compared to the same period; after-tax profit is projected at VND165.73 billion, a decrease of 43.3% compared to the previous year; total investment is projected at VND1,496 billion.
Thus, ending the first half of 2026 with after-tax profit reaching VND187.61 billion, Long Hau has completed 113.2% of its annual plan.
