Kafi aims to be a platform for the entire financial journey

 Sunday, September 27,2026

AsemconnectVietnam - Not just a securities company providing trading and margin lending services, Kafi aims to develop into a new generation investment and asset management platform, accompanying customers from trading, investing, accumulating to long-term asset management.

From Trading to Asset Management
The development of the financial market is changing the way securities companies approach customers. Previously, the relationship between securities companies and investors mainly revolved around opening accounts, trading stocks, and using margin; now, the need is expanding to include accumulation, portfolio allocation, investment advice, and long-term asset management.
Mr. Trinh Thanh Can - General Director of Kafi, stated that Kafi will be a combination of a technology-driven securities company, an asset management platform, and a comprehensive investment ecosystem. However, if choosing a core positioning, the company wants to be seen as “a next-generation investment and asset management platform, powered by technology.”
Kafi doesn't just want to build a traditional securities company, but aims for a platform that can accompany customers throughout their entire financial journey, from trading, investing, and accumulating assets to long-term asset management. In this model, technology plays the role of infrastructure to scale up service.
Technology and artificial intelligence (AI) are expected to help Kafi serve a larger number of customers with personalized experiences, lower costs, and faster speeds. Meanwhile, financial products and advisory services are the elements that create real value for customers.
Currently, retail operations remain Kafi's most important growth driver. With a target of achieving pre-tax profit of VND1,050 billion in 2026, more than double the previous figure, the company expects its retail segment, including brokerage and margin lending, to continue contributing significantly thanks to its rapidly growing customer base and its technology platform ready for expansion.
Kafi plans to continue increasing its market share in brokerage and margin lending, diversifying its financial products, and developing derivatives and warrants. However, in the long term, Kafi does not want to build a business model overly dependent on market liquidity. The goal is to gradually form a more balanced and sustainable revenue structure.
Therefore, in addition to retail brokerage, the company is investing in wealth management services and long-term investment and accumulation solutions.
According to Mr. Trinh Thanh Can, this could become one of Kafi's major growth drivers in the next 3-5 years, as the demand for asset management from the middle class and high-net-worth clients in Vietnam increases.
A step in the long-term strategy
The official trading of KAI shares on UPCoM from September 9, 2026 marks a new turning point after Kafi's restructuring and strengthening of its financial capacity, technology, product ecosystem, team, and management.
According to Mr. Trinh Thanh Can, bringing KAI to the market not only marks the first trading day of the shares, but also opens a new phase of development with a larger scale, higher governance standards, and greater responsibility towards shareholders, investors, and the market.
Kafi views participation in the capital market not simply as a means of raising capital. Greater financial resources will support the company in continuing to invest in technology, product development, and expanding its service ecosystem.
At the same time, becoming a public company also places higher demands on information transparency and corporate governance.
After UPCoM, Kafi aims to complete the necessary conditions to list KAI shares on HOSE, considering this the next step in standardizing operations and expanding access to investors.
From the comprehensive restructuring process that began in 2022, Kafi is entering a phase where the challenge is not just about expanding capital, assets, or the number of customers, but about transforming scale into sustainable profitability.
