Masan (MSN) reaches VND8,518 billion profit-after-tax in the first 8 months of 2026

AsemconnectVietnam - Masan Group Joint Stock Company (MSN - HOSE) has just announced its business results for the first 8 months of 2026 with net revenue reaching VND77,023 billion, a 52% increase compared to the same period last year and exceeding the 2026 plan.

After-tax profit reached VND8,518 billion, approximately 2.2 times higher than the same period last year and on track to surpass the adjusted high-scenario for 2026.
Previously, Masan proposed adjusting its 2026 revenue plan from VND93,500 - 98,000 billion to VND98,000 - 105,000 billion.
Thus, after 8 months with revenue of VND77,023 billion, Masan has completed 73% - 79% of its adjusted proposed plan.
According to the company, the positive business results in the first 8 months of 2026 were contributed by several factors.
At Masan Consumer (code MCH - HOSE), revenue reached VND21,536 billion in the first 8 months, a 15% increase compared to the same period last year, and is on track to meet the set targets. Specifically, regarding the premiumization strategy, Omachi boosted the convenience food segment by 21.3% year-on-year, CHIN-SU maintained double-digit growth of 15.7% year-on-year; regarding market share increase, Nam Ngu continued its growth with 22.4% year-on-year, and bottled beverages returned to growth of 9.5% year-on-year. New drivers include Personal and Family Care, which achieved a 25.6% year-on-year growth; and international business operations, which continued its growth momentum with a 19.1% year-on-year increase.
For Wincommerce, August revenue reached VND4,413 billion, and cumulative revenue for the first eight months reached VND31,614 billion, a 26.6% year-on-year increase thanks to growth at existing and newly opened stores. Wincommerce opened a net 796 stores in the first eight months, with 618 stores operating under the rural minimart model.
For Masan High-Tech Materials (MSR – UPCoM), eight-month revenue reached VND21,013 billion, 5.1 times higher than the same period last year and exceeding the plan. In particular, the price of APT Tungsten remained high at USD3,019/mtu, reflecting limited supply and strong demand for tungsten. The company announced its first dividend payment at a rate of 10%, totaling VND1.105 billion.
At Masan MeatLife (code MML – UPCoM), revenue reached VND6.954 billion in the first eight months, a 16% increase compared to the same period last year and exceeding the plan; and at the Phuc Long chain, revenue reached VND1.511 billion in the first eight months, a 25% increase compared to the same period last year and is on schedule.
