Monday, September 21,2026
AsemconnectVietnam - The Board of Directors of Bao Minh Corporation (BMI) issued a Resolution on the implementation of a plan to issue over 15 million shares to pay a 10% dividend for 2025.
This is expected to be implemented in the third or fourth quarter of 2026 after approval by the competent authority. Upon completion, Bao Minh's charter capital will increase from VND1,505.47 billion to over VND1,656.02 billion.
In the first six months of 2026, Bao Minh's net revenue from insurance business operations reached over VND2,844.9 billion, an increase of 5.8% compared to the same period last year. Revenue from financial activities also brought in over VND137.3 billion, a 15.4% increase compared to the first half of 2025. The company's net profit after tax was over VND182 billion, a 27% increase compared to the same period.
Compared to the full-year plan, BMI completed approximately 67% of its pre-tax profit target.
As of June 30, 2026, Bao Minh's total assets reached VND8,647.4 billion, a 12.7% increase compared to the beginning of the year, with short-term financial investments accounting for the largest proportion at 43.4%.
Recently, BMI shares were removed from the warning list effective September 8, 2026, due to the auditor's review conclusion being a full unqualified opinion based on the reviewed consolidated semi-annual financial statements for 2026.
