AsemconnectVietnam - After 8 months, Dien May Xanh Investment Joint Stock Company (DMX) has achieved 71% of its annual revenue plan with VND 87,050 billion, a 29% increase compared to the same period last year. Same-store revenue increased by 30%, while the company did not open any new stores in Vietnam.

DMX Investment Joint Stock Company (DMX) recorded consolidated revenue of VND87,050 billion for the first 8 months of 2026, a 29% increase compared to the same period last year and completing 71% of its full-year revenue plan, equivalent to VND122,500 billion.
Notably, revenue growth mainly came from existing stores, with same-store revenue (SSSG) increasing by 30%. The company stated that this growth occurred simultaneously across its retail chains and main product groups.
In August alone, DMX's revenue increased by 14% compared to July and by 28% compared to the same period in 2025, becoming the second highest-grossing month of the year, after the peak month of the Lunar New Year. This is due to the start of the most vibrant shopping season at the end of the year with the Back-to-School program, focusing on boosting sales of laptops, tablets, and accessories.
According to DMX, the end of the year will see major sales seasons, including the back-to-school season, the launch of new technology products, Black Friday, and the Lunar New Year shopping season. The company aims for a 30% increase in revenue for the whole year and a net profit after tax of VND10,000 billion.
Retail chains all experienced double-digit growth.
In the revenue structure for the first eight months, excluding the Dien May Xanh chain, Dien May Xanh contributed 67%, The Gioi Di Dong 30%, and TopZone 4%.
(Retail chains all experienced double-digit growth) Revenue for the three chains increased by 29%, 28%, and 35% respectively year-on-year. The main driving force came from increased sales at existing stores, as the businesses did not open any new stores in Vietnam.
By product category, information technology and mobile phones (ICT) accounted for 54% of revenue, consumer electronics (CE) accounted for 41%, and services accounted for 5%. Within that, Android phones accounted for 23%, iPhones 19%, and household appliances 11%.
TopZone recorded the highest growth among domestic chains, with Apple product sales increasing by 50% year-on-year. Several other product categories saw increases of 15-50%, with air conditioners benefiting from seasonal summer demand.
Contract purchases and financial services continued to contribute.
Revenue from contract purchases increased by 44% year-on-year in the first eight months and accounted for 38% of total revenue. Approximately 97% of products at Dien May Xanh stores accept this payment method.
In the financial services segment, the total value of utility and banking payment transactions reached VND74,000 billion, an increase of 5%, with 49 million transactions, a 10% increase compared to the same period last year. This service is implemented at more than 3,000 Dien May Xanh stores.
