Viettel Global (VGI): 6-month profit nearly doubles, dividend payout set for 33% cash dividend

AsemconnectVietnam - On September 18th, Viettel Global (VGI – UPCoM) will finalize the list of shareholders entitled to receive cash dividends for the 2025 fiscal year.
The dividend will be distributed at a rate of 33%, meaning shareholders owning one share will receive VND3,300. Thus, with over 3,043.8 million shares outstanding, Viettel Global will have to spend over VND10,044 billion. The ex-dividend date is September 17th, and the dividend payment is expected on October 15th.
Regarding capital structure, the Military Telecommunications and Industry Group (Viettel), the parent company owning 99.03% of VGI's capital, will receive over VND9,944 billion from Viettel Global's dividends.
Regarding business operations, according to the newly released consolidated financial report for the third quarter of 2026, Viettel Global recorded revenue of over VND13,610 billion, a 28.4% increase compared to the same period last year; pre-tax and after-tax profits reached approximately VND4,969 billion and VND4,004.7 billion respectively, representing increases of 25.67% and over 40% compared to the same period last year.
For the first six months of the year, the company recorded revenue of VND26,177.7 billion, a 29.2% increase compared to the same period last year; pre-tax profit reached VND8,453.24 billion, a 60.6% increase; and after-tax profit reached VND6,333.6 billion, a 93.85% increase.
With a plan to achieve consolidated revenue of VND52,561 billion by 2026, Viettel Global has already completed nearly 50% of its target by the end of the first half of the year.
