Phu My Fertilizer (DPM) achieves 192% of annual profit plan after 6 months

AsemconnectVietnam - In the first half of 2026, Phu My Fertilizer's pre-tax profit more than doubled to VND1,631 billion, equivalent to approximately 192% of the annual plan. Simultaneously, the total remuneration and income of the Board of Directors, General Management Board, Supervisory Board, and Chief Accountant reached nearly VND23.4 billion, an increase of approximately 57%.

The strong business results in the first half of 2026 were accompanied by a significant increase in the income of the leadership team of PetroVietnam Fertilizer and Chemicals Corporation – JSC (PVFCCo – Phu My, stock code: DPM).
According to the audited semi-annual financial report for 2026, the total remuneration and income for the Board of Directors, General Management Board, Supervisory Board, and Chief Accountant of DPM reached nearly VND23.4 billion in the first six months, an increase of nearly 57% compared to the same period last year.
This increase occurred amidst a strong improvement in the company's business performance. In the first half of the year, DPM recorded VND12,609 billion in net revenue, a 33.8% increase compared to the same period. Pre-tax profit reached nearly VND1,631 billion, a 116% increase, while after- tax profit attributable to parent company shareholders reached approximately VND1,308 billion, a 115% increase.
At the annual general meeting in April, DPM set a plan for 2026 with consolidated total revenue of VND17,600 billion and pre-tax profit of VND850 billion. Thus, after 6 months, the company has achieved approximately 72% of its revenue target and 192% of its pre-tax profit plan for the whole year.
The Chairman of the Board of Directors received over VND2.18 billion in 6 months.
In the Board of Directors, Mr. Nguyen Xuan Hoa, Chairman of the Board of Directors, recorded total income of over VND2.181 billion in the first half of the year, an increase of about 17% compared to the same period last year. On average over six months, this figure is equivalent to about VND363.5 million/month.
Mr. Phan Cong Thanh, Member of the Board of Directors and General Director, received approximately VND1.921 billion, an increase of over 26%. The other two members of the Board of Directors, Mr. Nguyen Ngoc Anh and Mr. Ho Quyet Thang, recorded approximately VND1.635 billion and VND1.722 billion respectively, increases of nearly 46% and 51%.
The case with the strongest increase is Ms. Vo Thi Thanh Ngoc, with income of approximately VND1.581 billion, compared to about VND108 million in the same period last year. In purely numerical terms, this figure is approximately 14.6 times higher. Note that Ms. Ngoc was elected to the Board of Directors on May 30, 2025.
Conversely, Mr. Trinh Van Khiem recorded approximately VND418 million during the period, significantly lower than the same period last year. According to the report, as of June 30, 2026, Mr. Khiem will no longer hold a position on the company's Board of Directors.
In April 2026, the DPM Board of Directors was further strengthened with two new members, Mr. Cao Tri Kien and Mr. Trieu Quoc Tuan. Their recorded income during the period was approximately VND274 million and VND252 million respectively. Both began holding their positions on April 23, 2026.
Many Deputy General Directors' incomes increased by 40-85%.
Not only the Board of Directors, but the incomes of many members of the Executive Board also increased quite significantly in the first half of the year.
(Simply speaking, the income of many members of the Executive Board increased quite strongly in the first half of the year.) Deputy General Director Dao Van Ngoc received approximately VND1.75 billion, an increase of over 43%; Ms. Tran Thi Phuong Thao received VND1.766 billion, an increase of over 63%; Mr. Ta Quang Huy received VND1.756 billion, an increase of nearly 63%.
Mr. Vo Ngoc Phuong received approximately VND1.711 billion, an increase of nearly 74%, while Mr. Vu An recorded approximately VND1.461 billion, an increase of over 85% compared to the same period last year.
Chief Accountant Le Hong Quan received approximately VND1.437 billion in 6 months, an increase of nearly 76% compared to approximately VND818 million in the same period.
At the Supervisory Board, the income of its members also changed. Ms. Tran Thi Phuong recorded approximately VND1.375 billion, an increase of nearly 49%; Mr. Luong Phuong approximately VND259 million, an increase of over 123%; and Mr. Nguyen Cong Minh over VND210 million during the period. The structure of the Supervisory Board was changed at the Annual General Meeting of Shareholders on April 23, 2026.
More than half of the assets are in cash and short-term financial investments.
Besides the increase in profits, DPM's balance sheet continues to show a large amount of liquid assets. As of June 30, 2026, the company's total assets reached nearly VND18,496 billion, an increase of approximately 4% compared to the beginning of the year.
Of which, cash, cash equivalents, and short-term financial investments amounted to more than VND10,230 billion, equivalent to about 55% of total assets. Short-term financial investments alone reached nearly VND8,796 billion, mainly consisting of time deposits at banks.
Inventory decreased by nearly 24% compared to the beginning of the year, down to approximately VND2,627 billion.
On the capital side, total liabilities reached approximately VND6,951 billion, an increase of 11%, while short-term borrowings and financial lease liabilities decreased by more than 22%, to approximately VND3,232 billion.
