AsemconnectVietnam - The expo, scheduled for August 27-29, is expected to bring together more than 260 international buyers and over 500 tourism companies and brands, with more than 21,000 business-to-business meetings scheduled.
The 2026 International Travel Expo Ho Chi Minh City (ITE HCMC) will take place from August 27 to 29 at the Saigon Exhibition and Convention Center (SECC), according to the Ho Chi Minh City Department of Tourism.
The expo is expected to bring together more than 260 international buyers and over 500 tourism companies and brands, with more than 21,000 business-to-business meetings scheduled.
The scale of the event is expected to help local tourism businesses gain direct access to international markets while creating opportunities to develop new tourism products and attract new visitor segments.
Major international travel and tourism groups participating in the expo include TUI Group, DERTOUR, Flight Centre Travel Group, Trip.com, Goway, Thomas Cook, Ignite Travel Group, Remote Lands and Uniworld TTC. The event will also feature companies specialising in MICE tourism, conferences and events, as well as multinational corporations from various sectors.
Held just ahead of Vietnam’s National Day holiday on September 2, ITE HCMC is expected to provide an additional boost to tourism demand.
In the first eight months of 2026, Ho Chi Minh City welcomed 7.77 million international visitors, up 38.5% year on year. Tourism revenue reached nearly VND260 trillion ($9.88 billion), an increase of 48.8%.
