Samland (SLD) earns VND524.6 billion in the first 6 months

AsemconnectVietnam - Sacom Real Estate Joint Stock Company (Samland, ticker SLD - UPCoM) recorded a profit of VND320.3 million, with a cumulative profit of VND524.6 million in the first half of 2026, achieving 72.6% of its 2026 annual plan.
In the second quarter of 2026, Samland recorded revenue of VND42.7 million compared to no revenue recorded in the same period last year; after-tax profit reached VND320.3 million, a decrease of 93.8% compared to the same period last year.
Despite having revenue, in the second quarter, Samland still recorded a gross loss of VND49.6 million compared to a positive VND10 million in the same period last year, a decrease of VND59.6 million.
Furthermore, financial revenue decreased by 25% year-on-year, equivalent to a decrease of VND1,301.3 million, to VND3,910.6 million; financial expenses increased by VND2,931.5 million, to VND851.5 million (compared to a loss of VND2,079.97 million in the same period); selling and administrative expenses increased by 2%, equivalent to an increase of VND43.2 million, to VND2,205.7 million, and other activities showed insignificant fluctuations.
Cumulatively in the first half of 2026, Samland recorded revenue of VND42.7 million compared to no revenue recorded in the same period; after-tax profit reached VND524.6 million, an increase of 39.7% year-on-year.
In 2026, Samland plans for total revenue of VND20,470 million and projected pre-tax profit of VND723 million.
Thus, ending the first half of 2026 with a pre-tax profit of VND524.6 million (pre-tax and after-tax profits were equal due to no tax incurred during the period), Samland completed 72.6% of its annual plan.
Despite a slight profit in the first half of 2026, as of June 30, 2026, Samland still had accumulated losses of VND45.3 billion, equivalent to 5.77% of its charter capital (charter capital of VND785.73 billion).
Regarding cash flow, in the first half of 2026, Samland recorded a negative cash flow from core business operations of VND7.9 billion compared to a negative VND2.12 billion in the same period. Furthermore, investment cash flow was positive VND6.6 billion and financing cash flow was negative VND4.1 billion.
In terms of asset size, as of June 30, 2026, Samland's total assets increased by 2% compared to the beginning of the year, equivalent to an increase of VND17.1 billion, reaching VND856.1 billion. Of this, the main assets are VND732.3 billion in long-term work-in-progress assets, accounting for 85.54% of total assets; VND25 billion in cash and short-term financial investments, accounting for 2.92% of total assets; and other items.
Regarding the securities investment portfolio, as of the end of Q2, Samland was investing VND22.4 billion in DNP shares, with a provision of VND2.3 billion (compared to VND2 billion at the beginning of the year).
As for long-term work-in-progress assets, as of June 30, 2026, Samland recorded VND142.9 billion for the Samland Riverside apartment project and VND589.4 billion for the residential area project in Nhon Trach ward. These are two of Samland's key projects that have been delayed for many years.
