AsemconnectVietnam - Pacific Petroleum Transportation Joint Stock Company (HOSE: PVP) has just announced its Q2/2026 financial report with strong business growth, reflecting the effectiveness of expanding transportation operations, improving fleet utilization efficiency and maintaining a safe financial foundation.
In Q2/2026, net revenue reached over VND722.7 billion, an increase of 29.7% compared to the same period last year. After-tax profit reached VND134.2 billion, an increase of 198.1%, equivalent to nearly three times the same period. For the first six months of the year, revenue reached VND1,367 billion, an increase of 39.7%, while after-tax profit reached VND209.7 billion, an increase of 145% compared to the same period in 2025. With these results, PVP has completed 50.6% of its revenue plan and 77.6% of its profit plan for the whole year of 2026, creating a favorable foundation to achieve the set business targets.
According to the company, the positive growth results stem from increased transport volume, expansion of chartering and leasing of external vessels, and improved fleet operation efficiency. In the context of a continuously favorable oil and gas transport market, the company has effectively utilized market opportunities to improve operational efficiency and profitability. By June 30, 2026, PVP's total capital reached over VND3,309 billion, with equity exceeding VND2,031 billion, including charter capital of VND1,037 billion.
A sound financial foundation with good liquidity and a low leverage ratio continues to provide room for the company to implement investment plans in the coming period. Recently, VIS Rating assigned PVP a corporate credit rating of A with a "Stable" outlook, reflecting its solid financial capacity, good profitability, stable cash flow, and prudent financial management policies.
This is an important foundation that will help the company improve its capital raising capacity and expand its operations in the future. In its development strategy for 2026 and beyond, PVP aims to continue modernizing and developing its fleet to meet international standards, thereby improving operational efficiency, expanding markets, enhancing competitiveness, and creating sustainable value for shareholders, customers, and employees.
With a strong financial foundation, positive business performance, and a clear development orientation, PVP is gradually consolidating its position in the oil and gas transportation sector. The results achieved in the first half of 2026 not only provide impetus for the company to complete its annual plan but also serve as an important stepping stone for its strategy of expanding its fleet size, enhancing competitiveness, and achieving sustainable development in the coming years.
