 Sunday, July 26,2026

AsemconnectVietnam - Viettel Construction Corporation (HOSE: CTR) has just updated its preliminary business results for the first six months of 2026, with pre-tax profit reaching VND401.7 billion, a 20% increase compared to the same period last year. In the second quarter of 2026 alone, Viettel Construction's pre-tax profit increased by 17% year-on-year.

In terms of revenue, the company achieved VND8,100 billion in the first six months of 2026, a 34% increase compared to the first half of the previous year. In the second quarter of 2026, the company's revenue also recorded a 29% increase year-on-year. This growth was largely contributed by the construction segment, with revenue reaching VND3,000 billion in the first six months, representing a 62% increase.
The driving force behind this segment comes from the growth momentum of several newly launched social housing projects, high-end residential areas, and resort hotel projects. As a result, the construction segment's revenue in Q2 2026 maintained a 48% year-on-year increase. In June alone, the company signed 676 billion VND in new civil construction contracts, including 543 billion VND from institutional and corporate clients and 133 billion VND from individual clients.
The technical solutions and services segment continues to be Viettel Construction's fastest-growing business segment, with revenue increasing by 68% year-on-year for the first six months, and a 77% increase in Q2 2026. This result is primarily supported by demand for solar energy solutions.
In June, the company signed 2,000 new solar power contracts, representing a 133% year-on-year increase. This figure helps increase the company's solar panel coverage to 1,459 communes, accounting for 45% of communes nationwide and holding approximately 50% of the market share in this area.
Regarding the operation and exploitation segment, revenue in the first six months increased by 9%, however, growth slowed in the second quarter of 2026, reaching only 4%. Similarly, the infrastructure leasing segment recorded a 15% increase in revenue in the first six months, while the second quarter of 2026 saw a 12% increase compared to the same period.
As of the end of June 2026, the number of telecommunication stations owned by the company remained stable at 12,000 stations compared to the end of 2025. However, the number of shared stations increased to 573 stations by the end of June from 526 stations at the end of May, maintaining a shared usage ratio of 1.04 times.
