Vietnam's white pepper export price remained unchanged at $9,000 per metric ton.
Export prices for black pepper were also unchanged, with the 500 g/l grade quoted at $6,100 per metric ton and the 550 g/l grade at $6,200 per metric ton.
Domestically, Gia Lai and Dong Nai recorded the country's lowest pepper price at VND137,000 per kg.
Prices in Ho Chi Minh City stood at VND137,500 per kg, unchanged from the previous day.
Meanwhile, pepper prices in Dak Lak and Lam Dong held at VND140,000 per kg, the highest level nationwide.
Vietnam's Import-Export Agency under the Ministry of Industry and Trade said domestic pepper prices in July had entered a period of stability and showed signs of a modest recovery, supported by tightening domestic supplies and steady export demand.
The agency said that if demand from major importing markets continued to improve in the coming months, domestic pepper prices were likely to remain at elevated levels and could rise further in the second half of 2026.
According to the Vietnam Pepper and Spice Association (VPSA), Vietnam exported 145,686 metric tons of pepper in the first half of 2026, including 125,258 metric tons of black pepper and 20,428 metric tons of white pepper.
Total pepper export revenue reached $940.5 million, up 17.4% in volume and 10.6% in value compared with the same period in 2025.
Although Vietnam's domestic pepper production continued to decline, exports maintained growth thanks to supplementary imported raw materials and stable demand from key overseas markets. However, export growth slowed in recent months as domestic supplies became increasingly limited.
