AsemconnectVietnam - Bao Minh Securities Joint Stock Company (BMS - UPCoM) recorded a profit of VND74.71 billion in the second quarter, bringing the cumulative profit for the first half of 2026 to VND110.59 billion, an increase of 116.9% compared to the same period last year and achieving 53.2% of the annual plan.
In the second quarter of 2026, Bao Minh Securities recorded total revenue of VND167.06 billion, an increase of 17.2% compared to the same period last year; after-tax profit reached VND74.71 billion, an increase of 20% compared to the same period last year. Total expenses increased by 44.9% compared to the same period last year, equivalent to an increase of VND17.68 billion, reaching VND57.04 billion.
Regarding the structure of total revenue in the second quarter, Bao Minh Securities recorded a 13% year-on-year increase in profit from financial assets recognized through profit/loss (FVTPL), equivalent to an increase of VND16.43 billion, reaching VND143.12 billion; a 42.1% increase in profit from investments held to maturity (HTM), equivalent to an increase of VND3.62 billion, reaching VND12.22 billion; a 135.5% increase in profit from loans and receivables, equivalent to an increase of VND2.71 billion, reaching VND4.71 billion; securities brokerage revenue decreased by 7.9%, equivalent to a decrease of VND0.32 billion to VND3.71 billion, and other activities showed insignificant fluctuations.

Thus, because securities brokerage and margin lending activities account for a very small proportion, Bao Minh Securities' business results maintained growth momentum, contrary to securities companies whose revenue mainly comes from brokerage and margin lending activities when the market declined in the first half of 2026.
