ACV achieves nearly VND10,750 billion revenue in 6 months

AsemconnectVietnam - Vietnam Airports Corporation (ACV) recently held a conference to review the first six months of the year, consolidate leadership personnel, and accelerate the completion of key aviation projects.

Despite the aviation industry still facing many challenges from geopolitical fluctuations, fuel costs, logistics, and financial pressure, Vietnam Airports Corporation (ACV) has maintained safe and stable operations at 22 airports nationwide, while accelerating the progress of key infrastructure projects to achieve its business production targets for 2026.
At the conference reviewing the work of the first six months of the year, the Party Committee of the Ministry of Finance announced and presented the decision approving the position of Secretary of the Party Committee of Vietnam Airports Corporation, term 2025–2030, to Mr. Nguyen Cao Cuong - Chairman of the Board of Directors of ACV. This is important content, contributing to the consolidation of the Party Committee's leadership structure within the Corporation, ensuring unified and continuous leadership during the period when ACV is implementing many key tasks in production, business, investment, development, and system stability.
In the first half of 2026, ACV served nearly 61 million passengers, an increase of over 6% compared to the same period last year, including over 24 million international passengers and nearly 37 million domestic passengers. Cargo and parcel throughput at airports reached nearly 920,000 tons, an increase of nearly 13%, while the number of takeoffs and landings reached nearly 370,000, an increase of nearly 5%.
Regarding business results, ACV recorded VND10,745 billion in revenue, an increase of 1.78% compared to the same period; pre-tax profit reached VND5,862 billion, completing 83.61% of the annual plan. The company has also contributed VND1,635 billion to the state budget.
In the field of infrastructure investment, ACV is focusing its resources on implementing the "180-day acceleration program" to ensure that Long Thanh International Airport is put into operation by the end of 2026. In addition, the company aims to bring Lien Khuong Airport back into operation from August 19, 2026, Ca Mau Airport into operation from November 1, 2026, and complete the Cat Bi Airport cargo terminal in August 2026, along with many infrastructure upgrade projects throughout the system.
