AsemconnectVietnam - Hai An Transport and Stevedoring Joint Stock Company (HAH - HOSE) is contributing additional capital to Hai An Green Shipping Lines Co., Ltd. to pay for the second installment of the contract for the construction of two new ships.

Hai An approved the contribution of an additional VND193.3 billion to Hai An Green Shipping Lines Co., Ltd., increasing the total capital contribution from VND600 billion to VND793.3 billion. The transaction will be completed in 2026-2027, before the second installment payment of the shipbuilding contract signed between Hai An Green Shipping Lines Co., Ltd., China Shipbuilding Trading Co., Ltd., and Dalian Shipbuilding Industry Co., Ltd.
Thus, after the capital contribution, Hai An Green Shipping Lines Co., Ltd. will increase its charter capital from VND1,500 billion to VND1,983.3 billion, and Hai An will still own 40% of the capital in Hai An Green Shipping Lines Co., Ltd.
Explaining the additional capital contribution to Hai An Green Shipping Lines Co., Ltd., Hai An stated that it aims to supplement equity capital, ensure financial capacity and legal matching funds for Hai An Green Shipping Lines Co., Ltd. to fulfill its second payment obligations according to the committed schedule in the shipbuilding contract for the two container ships C7100-15 and C7100-16.
Regarding business operations, in the first quarter of 2026, Hai An recorded revenue of VND1,264.96 billion, an increase of 8.2% compared to the same period; after-tax profit reached VND350.96 billion, an increase of 28.3% compared to the same period last year. In particular, the gross profit margin improved from 32.9% to 39.1%.
In 2026, Hai An plans for a total output of over 1.2 million TEU; total revenue of VND5,140 billion; and projected after-tax profit of VND1,250 billion, a decrease of 10.8% compared to 2025.
Thus, ending the first quarter of 2026 with after-tax profit reaching VND350.96 billion, Hai An has completed 28.1% of its annual plan.
