AsemconnectVietnam - According to statistics from the Customs Department, in the first 5 months of 2026, Vietnam's import turnover of computers, electronic products and components grew strongly to serve production and export needs.

Leading import markets of computers, electronic products and components in the first 5 months of 2026
China, South Korea, and Taiwan were the three main import markets for computers, electronic products and components in Vietnam in the first 5 months of 2026.
China maintained its leading position with a turnover value of nearly US$31.6 billion, an increase of nearly 65.4% compared to the same period last year and accounting for nearly 35.8% of the total market share.
South Korean market ranked with a turnover value of over US$24 billion, an increase of nearly 64.4%; meanwhile, the imports from Taiwan reached US$14.2 billion, a sharp increase of 69.5%.
The imports of computers, electronic products, and components from ASEAN markets reached nearly US$4.8 billion, a sharp increase of over 45.3%; of which imports from Singapore surged by nearly 263.4% while imports from Indonesia plummeted by nearly 53.8%.
The imports from Japan reached nearly US$4.3 billion, an increase of over 37%; while imports from the United States reached US$2.5 billion, an increase of 10.6%; and the imports from the EU market reached US$1.68 billion, an increase of over 21%.
