AsemconnectVietnam - According to the statistics from the Customs Department, Vietnam's exports of machinery, equipment, tools and spare parts in May of 2026 reached nearly US$6.04 billion, an increase of 1.73% compared to the previous month and a 20.72% increase compared to the same period of 2025.
In the first five months of 2026, Vietnam's total exports of machinery, equipment, tools and spare parts reached US$26.97 billion, increased by 22.07% compared to the same period in 2026.

The United States maintained its leading position among the main export markets for machinery, equipment and spare parts of Vietnam in the first five months of 2026 with a turnover of US$11.2 billion, an increase of nearly 21%. In comparison to the same period in 2025, the exports to the EU accounted for 41.6% of the market share. Although the exports to the EU in May reached nearly $2.53 billion, a slight decrease of over 0.7% compared to April, they increased by nearly 20% compared to the same period last year.
The EU market ranked second with a turnover of nearly $3 billion in the first five months of the year, an increase of 4.4% and accounting for over 11% of the market share. The exports in May alone increased by 18.38% compared to the previous month and by over 20.2% compared to the same period of 2025.
China was the third largest market with a turnover value of over $2.6 billion, an increase of nearly 46.3%, accounting for 9.7% of the market share, while exports to Hong Kong reached nearly $2.06 billion, an increase of over 69.3%, accounting for over 7.6% of the market share.
