Ministry of Industry and Trade works with Ministry of Finance and Ministry of Agriculture and Environment to promote double-digit export growth

AsemconnectVietnam - In implementing the tasks and objectives set out in Conclusion No. 18-KL/TW dated April 2, 2026, of the Second Plenum of the 14th Party Central Committee on the socio-economic development plan, national financial plan, public borrowing and debt repayment, and the five-year medium-term public investment plan for 2026-2030 associated with the goal of achieving “double-digit” growth, as well as Resolution No. 148/NQ-CP dated June 6, 2026, of the Government’s regular meeting for May 2026, and to coordinate the implementation of measures aimed at achieving the double-digit export growth target in 2026, on June 12, 2026, the Minister of Industry and Trade and leaders of the Ministry of Finance and the Ministry of Agriculture and Environment co-chaired a working session with agencies and units under the three ministries to discuss and agree on solutions to remove bottlenecks and facilitate production and export activities.
At the meeting, representatives of agencies and units from the ministries reviewed the export performance of key commodity sectors, assessed the difficulties and challenges facing businesses, and discussed measures to enhance competitiveness, manage the trade balance, and promote export growth in the coming period.
