 Tuesday, June 9,2026

AsemconnectVietnam - Vietnam's agricultural markets showed mixed movements on Tuesday, with durian prices diverging sharply across growing regions, while domestic coffee and live hog prices extended recent declines. Rice and pepper markets remained largely stable, and global rubber futures traded in opposite directions across major exchanges.

Coffee falls despite gains in global futures
Domestic coffee prices fell slightly from the previous session, with robusta beans trading at 84,500-85,300 dong ($3.24-$3.27) per kg in the Central Highlands.
Dak Nong recorded the highest buying price at 85,300 dong per kg, while Dak Lak and Gia Lai traded at 85,100 dong. Lam Dong remained at 84,500 dong per kg.
The decline came despite stronger international markets. July robusta futures on ICE Europe rose $25 to $3,341 per tonne, while July arabica futures on ICE U.S. gained 1.2 U.S. cents to 247.70 cents per pound.
Pepper prices steady after recent losses

Vietnam's rice export quotations were steady, with Jasmine rice offered at $515-$519 per tonne, fragrant 5% broken rice at $495-$497 per tonne and 100% broken rice at $344-$348 per tonne.
In regional markets, Thailand's 5% broken white rice remained the most expensive at $459-$463 per tonne, compared with $373-$377 for Pakistan and $340-$344 for India.
Durian prices show wide regional disparities
Durian prices continued to vary significantly among producing regions, reflecting differences in supply and quality. Dong Nai recorded the highest prices for Thai Monthong durian, with Grade A fruit trading at 85,000-87,000 dong per kg. In the Mekong Delta, Grade A Monthong durian fetched 70,000-73,000 dong per kg, while Ri6 Grade A traded at 40,000-43,000 dong. Premium varieties maintained higher price levels. Musang King Grade A was sold at 80,000-83,000 dong per kg, while Black Thorn Grade A in Dong Nai reached as high as 110,000 dong per kg.
Live hog prices extend decline
Vietnam's live hog market weakened further, with prices falling by 1,000 dong per kg in several northern and southern provinces. In the north, Ninh Binh dropped to 67,000 dong per kg, while Hanoi, Hai Phong, Hung Yen and Bac Ninh remained at the regional high of 68,000 dong.
