Hanoi to host major toy and child products exhibition

AsemconnectVietnam - According to representatives of Vinexad, the exhibition will introduce a wide range of new products, including educational toys, creative products, childcare and safety equipment, and solutions for preschool education. The event is expected to provide businesses with opportunities to secure stable supply sources, expand distribution networks and update themselves on the latest consumer and technology trends in the industry.

The International Baby Products & Toys Expo and International Trendy Toys Expo Hanoi 2026 (IBTE Hanoi 2026) will take place from June 18-21 at the Vietnam Exhibition Centre (VEC) in Hanoi, bringing together hundreds of businesses and brands in the toy and child products industry. The event is jointly organised by Vinexad under the Ministry of Industry and Trade and Chaoyu Expo, the China Foreign Trade Development Bureau. Experts said that with Vietnam maintaining stable economic growth, a young population structure and rising consumer demand, the market for toys and child-related products is showing strong growth potential. Vietnam is increasingly becoming an attractive destination for businesses in the sector, particularly in trendy toys and licensed products.

Considered one of the industry's largest events, IBTE Hanoi 2026 is expected to cover 20,000 square metres, featuring more than 1,000 booths and over 500 enterprises from Vietnam, China and other countries and territories. The exhibition will focus on five key sectors, including trendy toys, child products, licensed toys, educational toys and stationery.

According to representatives of Vinexad, the exhibition will introduce a wide range of new products, including educational toys, creative products, childcare and safety equipment, and solutions for preschool education. The event is expected to provide businesses with opportunities to secure stable supply sources, expand distribution networks and update themselves on the latest consumer and technology trends in the industry.

Beyond product launches and trade promotion, IBTE Hanoi 2026 is also expected to serve as a bridge helping businesses tap more effectively into the Vietnamese and Southeast Asian markets.

With a population of more than 100 million people, a rapidly expanding middle class and an increasingly open investment environment, Vietnam is emerging as one of the region’s most dynamic growth hubs, creating favourable conditions for the development of the toy and child products industry in the coming years.

Vinexad representatives said the event has received support from many prestigious organisations and associations, helping strengthen links among businesses, regulators and the market toward more professional and sustainable industry development.

During the exhibition, various business matching activities and industry seminars will be organised to enhance supply chain connectivity and expand regional cooperation opportunities. Notably, the Asian Toy & Baby Products Associations Alliance (ATAA) will support connections between international buyers, associations and exhibiting enterprises through direct trade exchange programmes.

The exhibition will also feature interactive activities for visitors, including mini games, lucky draws and gift programmes.

A number of well-known brands are expected to participate, including 52TOYS, Dongguan Yuankang Toy Manufacturing Co., Ltd, Zen of Collectible Culture (Shan Tou) Co., Ltd, Zhongshan Unimass Animation Culture Co., Ltd, Hangzhou Yaobao Infant Products Co., Ltd and Hangzhou Katetu Baby Products Co., Ltd.

Some exhibitors are expected to launch new products and release limited editions at the event, opening up opportunities for exclusive partnerships with distributors and business partners.

With participation from distributors, wholesalers, mother-and-baby store chains, e-commerce platforms, importers, retailers and educational institutions, IBTE Hanoi 2026 is expected to become a key trade and networking event for the toy and child products industry in the region./.
