Tuesday, May 19,2026
AsemconnectVietnam - Duc Thanh Wood Processing Joint Stock Company (stock code GDT) has just announced its consolidated financial report for the first quarter of 2025, showing a decrease in revenue but a 9% increase in after-tax profit compared to the same period last year, thanks to improved labor productivity and optimized costs.
Specifically, at the end of the first quarter of 2026, Duc Thanh Wood recorded net revenue of VND67.4 billion, a decrease of 4% compared to the same period last year; after-tax profit reached VND17.17 billion, a 9% increase.
The company stated that the revenue in the first quarter of 2026 experienced a slight decline, mainly due to geopolitical instability in the Middle East, a challenging global economic environment, and a decrease in consumer demand from the European market.
Meanwhile, after-tax profit grew strongly thanks to improved labor productivity, investment in modern machinery and equipment, and the implementation of production process improvements to optimize costs and enhance operational efficiency.
In fact, Duc Thanh Wood has promoted a green production strategy by modernizing its processes through synchronized investment in advanced machinery and equipment. This solution not only helps minimize reliance on unskilled labor but also improves production accuracy.
In 2026, Duc Thanh Wood aims for consolidated revenue of VND371.2 billion, a 12% increase compared to 2025; consolidated after-tax profit of VND77.5 billion, a 5% increase.
Thus, after 3 months, the company has completed 18% of its revenue plan and 22% of its after-tax profit plan for the whole year.
As of March 31st, Duc Thanh Wood's total assets increased by 24% compared to the beginning of the year, reaching VND685.3 billion. Equity was VND347 billion. Undistributed after-tax profit was VND90.7 billion.
The company's total outstanding debt as of the end of March was VND338.3 billion, primarily consisting of long-term debt of VND208.4 billion, accounting for 61.6% of total debt and increasing 2.77 times compared to the beginning of the year. Short-term debt was nearly VND130 billion.
