Computer and electronics exports in first quarter of 2026

AsemconnectVietnam - According to the preliminary statistics from the Customs Department, in the first quarter of 2026, the export value of computers and electronics nationwide reached over US$30.72 billion, an increase of 45.49% compared to the first quarter of 2025.
In March of 2026 alone, computer and electronics exports reached nearly US$13.01 billion, an increase of 60.5% compared to February of 2026 and a sharp increase of 51.87% compared to March of 2025.
Vietnam exported the most computers and electronics to the US market in the first quarter of 2026, reaching over US$12.36 billion, an increase of 65.42% compared to the first quarter of 2025, accounting for 40.24% of the total export value of computers and electronics nationwide. In March of 2026 alone, the exports reached over US$5.53 billion, a sharp increase of 81.8% compared to February 2026 and a 75.76% increase compared to March of 2025.
The second largest market was China, reaching over US$4.39 billion, an increase of 20.68%, accounting for 14.29%; in March of 2026, exports increased slightly by 0.01% compared to February of 2026 but decreased by 3.64% compared to March of 2025, reaching US$1.47 billion. Hong Kong market was follow with nearly US$3.09 billion, accounting for 10.04%, an increase of 50.1% compared to the first quarter of 2025.
The exports of computers and electronics to the EU market in the first quarter of 2026 reached nearly US$2.73 billion, an increase of 26.14%, accounting for 8.87%; while the exports to the South Korean market reached US$2.46 billion, an increase of 23.87%, accounting for 8.01%.
The exports to the Southeast Asian market reached over US$1.6 billion, an increase of 67.37%, accounting for 5.21%;
Overall, the country’s exports of computers and electronics to most key markets in the first quarter of 2026 increased in value compared to the first quarter of 2025.
