 Monday, April 13,2026

AsemconnectVietnam - Gia Lai Power Joint Stock Company (GEC - ticker GEG) has announced documents for its Annual General Meeting of Shareholders for the 2025 fiscal year, including 4 reports and 11 proposals related to financial and governance matters.

The meeting is scheduled to be held at 8:30 AM on April 24th in Ho Chi Minh City. The agenda includes a report on the 2025 operating results, the 2026 business plan, the profit distribution plan, and other matters within the authority of the General Meeting.
By the end of 2025, GEC will be operating and developing 24 power plants and 35 rooftop solar power systems, with a total capacity of nearly 800 MWp, while maintaining stable operation of the plants and power systems.
The total electricity output of the entire system in 2025 is expected to reach approximately 1.34 billion kWh, corresponding to 2,935 billion VND in electricity sales revenue. Consolidated after-tax profit in 2025 is projected at VND947 billion, exceeding the planned target. This result is attributed to the recognition of remaining revenue after the completion of negotiations on the official electricity selling price for the Tan Phu Dong 1 power plant and the A7-VPL tower, along with the recognition of profit from the divestment of shares in the affiliated company (Truong Phu Hydropower Joint Stock Company).
Over the past year, the company continued to implement 3 renewable energy projects with a total capacity of over 95 MWp. In addition, the company is finalizing legal procedures for projects already under study in various localities, while also reviewing investment opportunities suitable to market conditions.
In 2026, the company plans to commission the Duc Hue 2 solar power plant (49 MWp) in Q2/2026 and the VPL2 wind power plant (30 MW) in Q4/2026. Alongside commissioning these new projects, the company will continue to focus on optimizing the operational efficiency of existing plants and completing the legal documentation for projects in its development portfolio.
The company's financial plan for 2026 projects revenue of over VND3,100 billion and pre-tax profit of approximately VND460 billion. This profit level is based on the Company's core business operations, excluding retroactive revenue and profits from capital transfer activities as recorded in 2025.
For fiscal year 2025, the Company plans to pay a 5% dividend in shares, prioritizing resources for GEC's ongoing power projects under the revised Power Development Plan 8, aiming to reach a capacity of 1 GW by 2026-2027. This plan is based on a balance between investing in new projects and maintaining shareholder benefits.
